Throughout the Summer at 262 venues across the UK, an anticipated 800,000 women will participate in Cancer Research UK's Race for Life, to raise vital funds to support the charity's life-saving work.

Cancer Research UK's Race for Life was created in 1994 and has gone from strength to strength over the years. Organised by Cancer Research UK, Race for Life has grown to become the UK's biggest fundraising event, raising a total of more than £70 million to date for cancer research.

Do you want another challenge?

Run 10k for Cancer Research UK, supported by Tesco, is a series of 41 events held in stunning and unique locations through the UK this autumn. This year we hope the men and women in the North West will come together to raise money to help fund Cancer Research UK's life saving work. Run 10k offers a perfect opportunity to get out into the great outdoors and raise money to help beat cancer. Running 10k is an achievable challenge for everyone with some training.

There are Run 10k events taking place at Heaton Park on the 14th September, Tatton Park on the 20th and 21st September and at Birkenhead Park on the 12th October.
