Amy MacDonald and David Heane talk touring the world, living out of a suitcase and anonymity.

Amy spoke to us about recording new album Life in a Beautiful Light and spending time where the heart is:

"I'd done a lot of doing nothing.  Just for me, it had been four years since I'd properly been at home so I'd made the conscious decision that I wanted a whole year and thankfully everyone was really supportive of that.

"Being at home again and being able to see my friends and family for me was just perfect and really inspiring so that the songs actually came quite easily and I didn't ever really feel like I was writing the album, which was a good thing."
