Adele sings Bond theme Skyfall

Someone Like You singer Adele has now been officially announced for the title song 'Skyfall'!

And guess what the song’s going to be called? Er, 'Skyfall'.

The brand new big Bond film stars Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes and hits cinemas on October 26th.

Singing a theme for the 23rd James Bond film means that the British singer joins the likes of Shirley Bassey, Paul McCartney and Madonna in providing musical goodness to moody montages.

We can’t think of anybody better to record the next Bond theme. Adele's album 21 was released in January 2011 and has yet to leave the charts!

It was the biggest-selling record of the year by some distance and is also the second best selling album of 2012 behind Emeli Sande's Our Version of Events.
