Parksy has been behind a mic since the tender age of 18 when he landed his own show on his hometown station, Southern FM in Brighton. Happy to confess that he got the job by "blagging it", his skills clearly extended further than this as he's been on-air ever since.
Stints at Invicta FM in Kent, Power FM in Hampshire and London's Capital FM were followed by the move up north to Manchester in 1999 when he joined Key 103. Six years later he found his home at Real Radio where he's now the housewives' favourite!
Parksy perks up mid-mornings in the north-west with music you just have to sing along to, Parksy's Pop Quiz and the all-request lunch when listeners can request the songs they want to hear.
Married to Emma and dad to Charlie and Felix, Parksy is a keen gym bunny and can also be spotted entertaining shoppers at the north-west's biggest shopping centre on Trafford Centre TV.
