Ditchy and Salty teased us all week with the promise of a fabulous celebrity guest joining them at the Rovers Return on Coronation Street at the finale of their World Tour of the North West.

And troubador James Morrison (or ‘Old Mozza' as they affectionately dubbed him) did not disappoint when he joined them in the famous Coronation Street local. Ditchy - who is a big James Morrison fan - was made up that the songstrel was happy to do a request for him.

James Morrison is a twenty-something singer songwriter who was plucked from obscurity by ex A&R man Spencer Wells. Having overcome a less than idyllic childhood Morrison always writes about things that matter to him. Nowadays he has international stardom to contend with having shot to number one in Britain with Undiscovered, hitting the US top 30 and winning the 2007 Brit Award for Best Male.

He will perform his new single You Make It Real live for Ditchy and Salty.

But as the crew bid farewell on the last day of their tour, will Ditchy, Salty and Debbie be able to contain their tears listening to the moving track?
