There are so many fad diets out there and quite simply half of them don't work. That's why we're so pleased to have Rob Edmond of ITV's Biggest Loser on our side! 

He's going to be exposing some of the common myths of diets on this page and also laying out how a simple nutritional plan can help your lose weight, tone up and keep the fat off! 

So, lets get a few common myths out of the way...

Diets donʼt work - You need to retain muscle and you donʼt need the fat, diets reduce muscle more than the fat. When you resume normal eating habits, you will gain more fat and have less muscle.
 
Eating Fat doesnʼt mean putting on fat - Carbs are the main reason for adding & maintaining fat.
 
Diet, Low Sugar & Reduced Fat Foods & Drinks are not good for you - They are full of harmful sweeteners, additives, synthetic substances. They promote carb cravings and the retention of fat from other sources.
