Presenters gear up for Bike Unite
Scott, Glen, Salty and Kate clambered aboard tandem bicycles in preparation for Bike Unite – a 37 MILE ride. It wasn’t pretty!
These intrepid Real Radio presenters - plus David Heane, Ben Ransom, Charissa Chadderton and Big Dave the boss - will all be completing the epic bike ride on Sunday, June 28, in support of The New Children’s Hospital Appeal and the Alder Hey Imagine Appeal.
And, judging by their recent practice session, they are going to need to put in a few more hours on the bike if they are going to complete the marathon bike ride!
The route starts at Salford Quays will see cyclists riding along the Manchester Ship Canal and the Transpennine Way to finish at Calderstones Park in Liverpool.
The Real Radio Team would like to thank Bicycle Boutique in Manchester for their support and advice for the team during this event. Although the team where not convinced when Jamie suggested they try to do 37 miles on a tandem!
