Jude tries the Cayenne Pepper diet

I embarked on the most talked about, ultra extreme diet. The interest was so huge I decided to be a ‘diet guinea pig!’ I embarked on this diet for a week.

Basically it’s a fast and all you can do is drink water laced with fresh lemon juice, cayenne pepper and maple syrup. It can make you moody…no wonder! But, the effect is up to 2 stones lost in 2 weeks!!!

The doctor who invented 50 years ago claims all these components provide the essential for your body and says it's a wonderful detox and body cleanse.

I in no way wanted to lose two stone, so I only tried it for a few days, as an experiment. I'd advise you think carefully about it yourself and whether it's for you getting your doctors advice if necessary.

THE DIET:

It's the 'pepper' diet favoured by Beyonce (who lost 20lbs in 2 weeks) and Jenifer Aniston.

It's a form of fasting that burns fat, cleanses the digestive system and cleans your kidneys.

You can take part for between 10 and 21 days and it involves you drinking only a concoction of water, cayenne pepper, lemons, limes and maple syrup. A kind of fast, if you like where food id banned. All mixed together in a glass.....mmmm, bottoms up!

You can drink 6-12 glasses a day and here are the ingredients.

1/10th teaspoon of cayenne pepper, a squeeze of lemon and lime, a tea spoon of maple syrup. Mix together or shake.

I'm doing this diet as an experiment for 7 days...i'll be putting a blog and pics on this page with my updates...listen to my show and check out this page to see how I get on and if it works...it better had!

Side affects are tiredness and bad moods, sometimes diziness but the doctor who invented it says it actually gives your body all it needs.

Hollywood stars swear it's a winner, but you'll go hungry and experience bad moods (like Beyonce did)!- This is extreme...it works, but be cautious and consult a doctor if necessary.
