Jude's cayenne pepper diet diary...

My Cayenne Pepper blog:

Day 1 - Mon

How on earth did beyonce do this for two weeks???? I've just had the drink so far today and i'm hungry and tired as I write this at 6pm. That's unusual for me as i'm usually full of energy. I couldn't stop thinking about food ALL day and when I passed 'subway' on the way here I felt gutted. I'm already fantasising about what i'll have for my tea on Fri...nachos, pizza and my homemade choc brownies. Though you're not supposed to eat big meals straight away but wean yourself onto them...it gets worse!

Day 2 - Tues

I couldn't sleep last night, I was so hungry so I pretended in my mind that I was on 'I'm a celebrity...get me out of here' and there was no food in the jungle. When I got up this morning I was sooo tired. More than normal. I felt much better in the afternoon though and found shopping for a new dress for the weekend took my mind of it nicely! I lost £50 there, not sure how many lbs though yet!

I'm longing for Friday to come although I know this sounds crazy but I tried a dress on last night I know is a little tight and it was looser today and i'm only 2 days into it! I feel less bloated too.

Although i'm fully aware I will put all weight lost back on the second I resume normal food consumtion. That's why this is definately not a lifestyle diet/detox. Check back with me tomorrow to see what the day brings!

Day 3 - Weds

2 friends today told me how tired I look and I am. Only 4 hours sleep last night and all because I was so hungry I couldn't stop thinking of food! Do you know what?? It's actually not too bad during the day. I tend to be very busy so you forget but it's the nights when i'd normally sneak to my fave cupboard. It's saving me a small fortune nipping to tesco's too.

On the plus side. I haven't weighed myself yet but I tried on 2 dresses nad new jeans last night that have been too tight to do up recently and they are much looser.

2 more days to go and the experiemnt is over and i'll be free!!!!

Day 4 - Thurs

Today I declare my cayenne pepper experiment over! I'm calling it a day. We're having friends round tomorrow night and i want to be normal again...and eat.

The Verdict!

Well, I can confirm it does work. I've lost 6lbs in 4 days!!! bearing in mind i'm only a size 10 too I guess you'd lose more if you were bigger than that.

True, you'll lose the weight but the moment you start to actually eat again it'll only go straight back on...it's a fad and not a lifestyle choice. Maybe if you wanted a radical boost or get into that special dress it'd work for you but it's not fun. I'm tired and have avoided social situations this week because I can't have that muffin or latte, not happy!

The experiment is over....where that block of dairy milk????
